All RiskAware Drug Screens are reviewed by Medical Review Officers. Medical Review Officers (MROs) are certified by the AAMRO (American Association of Medical Review Officers) and/or the MROCC (Medical Review Officer Certification Council).
- Medical Review Officers supervise drug screen results for both negative and confirmed positive outcomes and to review chain of custody.
- For positive test results, Medical Review Officers conduct the donor interview to investigate explanations as required by federal regulations.
- Each specimen is reviewed for signs of tampering and adulteration.
- All DOT samples are handled in compliance with DOT regulations and guidelines
